Globalization is a boon for translation agencies. A study by Common Sense Advisory confirms this good news, relayed by the morning economic column on
France Inter. However, the agencies will have to
successfully transform them.
Advantage to legal translation
The proliferation of cross-border trade and the
import-export of services and goods naturally affects the translation needs of
companies. The texts intended for the communication of a company with its
customers are most obviously concerned. However, as France Inter points
out, international litigation and more broadly legal translation represent a huge market for translation firms. Among the most
translated legal documents are:
·
Contracts,
·
Terms
·
Complaints
·
procedural
documentation,
·
other acts to
be translated as a legal obligation.
The mass of these
texts is constantly increasing and requires specialized or even sworn
translators. This type of document has the distinction of not being able
to be translated in any way by an automatic translation, which is not the case
for some less sensitive texts. Translation agencies or freelance translators
must therefore be guarantees of quality for the client.
